Commemorative stamps issued by the Department of Posts, India on the occasion of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr..B.R. Ambedkar:

A First Day Cover (FDC) issued on the occasion showing Dr. Ambedkar with the Parliament of India in the background and a shadow of the Constitution of India behind him both on the FDC and the Rs.5/- stamp issued. Both on the stamp and the Cancellation of Pune GPO dated 30.09.2015.

 Commemorative Coins issued by the Mumbai Mint on the125thBirth Aniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar:

 

Two Commemorative Coins have been issued by the Mumbai Mint in the denominations of Rs.125/- (Rupees One Hundred & Twenty Five) and Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten) on the occasion of the125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the Proof and Uncirculated Coin Categories.

We have received a Proof Coin set from the Mumbai Mint, details of which are as under:

The above is an image of the Cover of the Coin Album.
The cover bears the inscriptions – “Smarak Sikke” (in Hindi) and “Commemorative Coins” (in English) and shows Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the foreground & the Indian Parliament in the background – symbolising that he was the “Father of the Indian Constitution”. Inscribed on the Cover is “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar ki 125 vin Jayanti – 2015” (in Hindi) and “125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar – 2015” (in English). Towards the bottom right is mentioned the quality of this Coin Set, “Proof 2 Coins”.

The above is an image of the Reverse of the Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten) circulation Coin. It bears the inscription on its upper periphery “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar ki 125 vin Jayanti” (in Hindi) and “125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar” (in English). Dr. Ambedkar is shown in a pensive posture with a copy of the Indian Constitution under his right hand. The dot Mint Mark on the lower bottom periphery indicates that this coin was minted at the Noida Mint.
